Its been a while since I have posted because I have been busy. I just haven’t had time to draw lately.
In the meantime, check out J. Blythe’s incredible blog, Them Thangs. Its a lot more interesting than anything you will see on my Tumblr, that’s for damned sure!
I have been bouncing around these ideas for his and hers skull and anchor designs, I am going to try to rough them out tomorrow night and should have them up soon. I haven’t been drawing seriously for a while, and so tonight was more of a reworking of an old sketch than anything new. Stay tuned for more.

No posts lately, been a little uninspired to draw and paint. Trying to figure out whether to go to law school, get serious about a tattoo apprenticeship, or try something else entirely different.
That being said, I have been sketching a lot of severed heads and I got some great ironwork and scrollwork reference books. Usually I don’t use a lot of reference, but I want to do some really tight drawings with a lot of patterns and details.

I have been getting by with this horrible Nikon Coolpix L18 for a couple of years and its time to get something that shoots decent photos. It just makes all the colors look fucked up and no matter how I shoot manages to distort things. Maybe I am just terrible at shooting… I could also just buy a scanner, been looking at a cheap A3 scanner which would be big enough for my paintings.
My camera really is not getting the colors right on my paintings, and its pissing me off. I need to buy a scanner and get a new camera if I am going to have representative work up here. I think the last couple paintings have used too much yellow, but the way they look on screen is even worse.
